Employee Lifecycle

One system of record for every employee - profile, employment history, bank details, documents, and org structure - from onboarding to offboarding.

Overview

Employee Lifecycle keeps everything about a person in one record: who they are, where they sit in the organisation, what they have been paid, which documents they have submitted, and what happened at each step of their journey with you.

Because attendance, leave, payroll, and appraisals all read from this one record, details are entered once and stay correct everywhere.

How it works - step by step

  1. 1Add an employee (or import many from a spreadsheet) with their basic details and role.
  2. 2Collect documents and details - the employee can upload them from their own portal.
  3. 3Assign department, designation, manager, branch, and employment terms.
  4. 4Track the journey: probation, confirmation, promotions, transfers, and appraisals.
  5. 5Approve change requests when employees update their own information.
  6. 6On exit, run the checklist, finish clearance, and keep the record for as long as you need it.

Common questions

Can employees update their own details?

Yes. Depending on how your organisation configures it, employees can edit some fields directly or submit a change request for HR to approve.

Who can see sensitive information such as bank details?

Only roles that you grant that permission. Visibility is controlled per role.

Can we import our existing employees?

Yes. Bulk import from a spreadsheet can be enabled for your organisation, so you do not need to type everyone in.

What happens to a record when someone leaves?

The record stays, with the exit details and checklist, so you keep the history while access is removed.
